Um It started out as couples counseling that led to just a lot of self discovery that I didn't even realize I needed to look at and, um, dig into and self confront about, um, oftentimes I would be in places in my life in my marriage with friendships.

Hi, my name is Megan Coleman and I have been doing coaching, marriage coaching with uh Rich for a year and a half give or take. Um It started out as couples counseling that led to just a lot of self discovery that I didn't even realize I needed to look at and, um, dig into and self confront about, um, oftentimes I would be in places in my life in my marriage with friendships. Um, and I thought I knew what the next step would be. Um And then Rich comes with this, this beautiful Godly perspective that really stretched me and made me think about who I am and who I want to be in a whole new way. Um He has just been a gift to me and to my marriage. I can say we're, we're still married, happily married. Uh still plenty of work to do and, and plenty of um sessions to come. I, I believe that um, coaching is such a, it's such a gift that you can have. Um just in your marriage, in your personal walk with the Lord, it just keeps you connected. It keeps you um, self confronting honestly. It's um a great, it's a great tool to just live the life that you want to live. Um, I'm, I'm so grateful and thankful that the Lord just gave rich to me. Um He, he's been a blessing in my life and I look forward to, um, continuing to be coached by him throughout my life.

Hi, we're Billy and Jessica and we're thrilled to tell you our experience uh with growing a marriage. Uh We first met Rich and Indiana in 2017. And uh their ministry has had a profound impact in our friendship uh in our marriage and ultimately in our family. And uh I'll let Jess tell you a little bit about uh her, her, her experience. We have been huge supporters and lovers of all growing in marriage resources. Um They have the conversation starters that have really just helped us develop a way to have conversations that don't revolve around kids or the mundane things of life, but actually to get to know one another. Um It's so easy to get in a cycle of not really communicating about each other and who you are and your likes and your dislikes and who you are as people when you get so busy and caught up with everything going on around you and rich and Diana and their resources have just really helped us to be able to get back to those kind of conversations. Um Get back to really knowing one another. We've had the privilege of attending one of their conferences where we got to do a deep dive into just our relationship. And it was a wonderful time and filled with lots of laughs because we do know that rich and Diana like to put you in uncomfortable situations sometimes to make sure that you are still vulnerable with one another and still willing to laugh. Um We're very grateful to them and very grateful to their ministry. We love them dearly and we're so thankful for them and we recommend them with uh our highest uh praise and gratitude uh to anybody considering them.

Um Pastor Richard Diaz Grown in marriage um ministry um for couples, you know, for couples like hours, what would you say has been the most rewarding part of, of, of being part of that group? What have we learned? What have you learned? Well, you remember in 2016, uh merch went through a little hard time. So, so during that time I learned how to be able to be transparent and to be able to ask questions. Yeah, and that's key um the transparency with any marriage everyone speaks of and, and, and um alongside the tools that we've picked up along the way through coaching um from uh Pastor Ridge, Indiana and, and the supplement to that of the reward of being able to attend a uh marriage retreats. That is awesome to be around couples and know that we're not alone to share and express um our experiences and to hear um that we're, we're, there's, there's people out there just like us that we're all relatively the same and, and, and that we have in the, in the way that we have our differences. Um I don't know, you guys, you guys are just an extreme blessing to us or just give thanks to God that you guys would put um in our path that you're able to find a way to show this energy and that, that couples can have and you guys carry it well and we just thank you for your, your selflessness to be able to just to um hone in on that and give it away to couples like us and just share your love. Yeah, I will recommend this to um couples that are struggling or, or just couples that want their marriage to be stronger. Yeah. No, absolutely. We love you. Best rich. We love you. Yes.

We absolutely love Rich Indiana and all of the material that they put out is I believe, spirit filled. And, uh, we've been beneficiaries of their writing materials, their Bible studies, their conversation starters. Uh We've done, listen to their podcast, we listen to their podcast separately and together. Um, and we crack up and we laugh with them and we enjoy their humor and talking about birds and all the stuff that they talk about on there. Um, so we really, really enjoy their podcasts and we, uh, have been able to attend a few of the marriage conferences as well and those are amazing. Uh The Growing and Marriage Podcast is so great, so wonderful, so knowledgeable uh growing and marriage retreats are absolutely amazing. They're amazing for numerous of reasons of a couple of those reasons and Big Rich and Deanna themselves. It's absolutely amazing. They're funny. They're wise, their material is fire. It's something that you can always take as tools to put into your marriage toolbox. Um If you've never been there, then definitely make the effort to try to get there. Uh My wife and myself, we've been to a couple of them. Uh The last one that we went to my wife and myself, we realized that it takes us a little bit longer to be able to say, uh to get into a conflict resolution with each other because we don't want to hurt each other's feelings. And we didn't even know that we were doing that. We were both doing that towards each other. And so it was really good because that has really opened up our communication uh with each other since the last uh retreat. Um I definitely recommend this to everybody. I don't only say it on here, but I actually tell everybody like, you gotta go check out a growing and marriage retreat. Uh Not only do you get to hear what big Rich and Diana are giving, but some of their guest speakers are absolutely amazing. And you get to fellowship and get into uh some community with some other marriages. That's great too because you get to realize um you're not alone and that is so key, at least in my wife and myself, marriage. Um If you've never been do your best to get there. Hi, I'm Brian Reno and I'm Madison Reno. And we want to tell you a little bit about why we love Rich and Deanna and growing in marriage. I feel like there's a lot of anxiety around the term a premarital therapy or anything like that counseling. Um But really the way we only saw it was as an extra tool in our toolbox uh to have our marriage succeed and Rich and Deanna are the best at that. They are made. They make it such a comforting environment if you talk about some stuff that ultimately is gonna pave a smoother path for you and your significant other. Yes, we loved our premarital counseling with them. Um If I remember correctly, I think we went for six sessions. Um and we enjoyed our time with them. Not only do we feel comfortable and welcomed. Um It's like you're hanging out with friends. They don't like start as soon as your toe crosses the threshold of their door, they kind of talk to you and you hang out a little bit before you dive deep into the nitty gritty. Um but not only will their expertise and the things that they teach you, help your marriage. But I also feel like it really improves the way you think as an individual. Um So it's helped our marriage, obviously. Um We're coming up on one year and I feel like we have used the things that they've taught us more than you can imagine within the first year. Um But it also has helped me improve myself and how I carry myself and also how I interact with other family and friends. So we cannot recommend them anymore and we love them so much.

There are a lot of conversations that my wife and I wouldn't have had if it wasn't for the growing and marriage podcast, Deanna and Rich, sharing their perspective and their stories helped us grow closer because one, we saw that other people were going through similar situations.

And two, a lot of times, Dan and Rich would share stories that made us feel like they were talking about us. Like it was our story, the resources on their website suggest them being who they are sharing resources within the podcast. And even if you're blessed enough to go to the retreat, which my wife and I were, they are truly serving the marriage community and they are an asset to any marriage. And if I were you, my recommendation is check him out because I promise you won't regret it.

Hey, my name is DJ Burres from Lexington, Kentucky. And uh my experience with growing and marriage actually started 2021 on listening to the podcast. Just kind of happened, happened to find it by chance. And it was one of the steps that actually brought me back to being saved, baptized in January of 2022. And, uh, Rich and Indiana have, uh reached out to me, uh, after I reached out to them and I told them my story and they've been kind of hand in hand with me since then. We were lucky, lucky enough to go to the uh retreat in Lake Tahoe at the end of 2022. So we were able to meet them and, uh just, it's been a whirlwind since then. But, uh the retreats are awesome. We were able to kind of put, um, you know, hand the feet to uh the ground work on our marriage and uh take it home. They gave us a lot of stuff to take home with us as far as, uh, you know, paperwork and books and just stuff that we can actually put a plan, um, highly recommend taking advantage of anything that these, uh, two put out Rich Indiana as far as podcast, books, websites, uh, they know what's going on and they definitely helped me for sure.

We should ultimately be looking to encourage our husbands and their relationship with the Lord.
And I feel that through these conversations, these men, these men do that for one another and they help to point the viewer back to Christ and just to see that their relationship with the Lord is of most important more than anything.

As a wife, we can be looking for ways for not only ourselves to grow but also for our husbands to grow in our marriages. And the competent husband mastermind is an opportunity for us to come alongside them and purchase it for them. Maybe it's something that they wouldn't do for themselves, but an opportunity that we can place into their hands. Um What I love about this is that it is a conversational setting. It's just a group of guys that are talking about different, different topics, um very common issues, most important things in relationships such as communication and how to deal with anger and household chores and household management, et cetera. Um But what I loved the most in these conversations is how some of these men shared some of the actual difficulties that they have walked through in their marriages. But ultimately that they're all pointing back to Christ and the relationship with Christ and how important that is. We should ultimately be looking to encourage our husbands and their relationship with the Lord. And I feel that through these conversations, these men, these men do that for one another and they help to point the viewer back to Christ and just to see that their relationship with the Lord is of most important more than anything. I think that this series of videos is an opportunity for us as wives to get to give this gift to our husbands and encourage them in their relationships with the Lord.

I, I'm a conflict avoider. And uh one of the things through some of the, the Bible studies and some of the talks that I've had with Rich himself has just helped me come out and understand that conflict is part of growing in relationships and um has helped me lean in to some of the conflict, not just in my marriage, but in my own personal life as well outside of marriage. And um I've grown tremendously, uh just as I've been able to go to the marriage retreats, um uh doing the Bible studies, listening to the podcast, all the things that uh growing in marriage has to offer, one of the funniest things that we experienced was the conversation starters. Uh We had a little deck of cards. Uh Now it's in book form. But, uh, we take those cards with us to dinner and just ask each other questions. And it's amazing after 30 years of marriage, um how much we're still learning about each other? And I'm excited um, to know more about my wife. And I'm so grateful that growing in marriage has been there to help us connect on deeper uh levels as we've um grown, as we've gotten older, as our hopes and dreams have changed. And so, um man, I would recommend growing in and I do recommend growing in marriage to everybody. Go to a retreat, sign up for coaching, get the books, do the Bible studies. They're phenomenal.
